Our fleet
Harvey’s Towing operates a fleet of more than 135 tow trucks and more than 215 units and transport vehicles! Our equipment is state-of-the-art, allowing us to tow and transport all types of vehicles, machinery, plant, equipment and more.
Standard Tow Trucks
Tray Length: 6 metres
Weight Capacity: 4.2 tonnes
Our standard tow trucks are used for towing motor vehicles like cars, motorbikes, 4WDs, light machinery and small construction equipment. They’re equipped with tilt trays that make it safe and easy to load and unload all types of vehicles.
Curtain Sider Tilt Trays
Our fully enclosable tilt trays offer complete privacy. They’re ideal for towing items that need discretion or extra protection from the weather. We’ve previously used these tow trucks to move things like police exhibits in total security.
Low Tilt Trays
Tray Length: 6 metres
Low tilt trays are similar to our standard tow trucks, but the tray can be lowered to the ground at a shallow angle. This is ideal for towing lowered cars, race cars, trailers, caravans, motorbikes, small boats, forklifts, demountable buildings and more.
Underlift Tow Trucks
Tray Length: 6 metres
Weight Capacity: 4.2 tonnes
Underlift tow trucks are designed to lift two wheels off the ground. They’re our most underrated tow truck and can fit almost anywhere! If you’re broken down in a shopping centre or underground car park, we’ll send an underlift to rescue you.
Heavy Super Tilts
Max. Tray Length: Up to 14 metres
Our Super Tilts are the backbone for all our larger items. They’re capable of transporting things like 40 foot shipping containers, large machinery, buses, boats, trucks and large caravans. Suitable for loads over 3m wide.
Heavy Bogie Drive and Tilt Trucks
Tray Length: 7.1 metres
Bogie drive trucks have two rear axles for extra weight capacity. They’re used to transport large trucks, scissor lifts, boom lifts, small to large machinery and much more. Heavy tilt trays are also useful for moving site sheds, small trucks, lighting machinery and shipping containers.
Heavy Underlift Trucks
Weight Capacity: 6.3 tonnes
Our heavy underlifts are used for transporting trucks, B doubles, buses and other heavy or commercial vehicles. Once your vehicle is ready to town, a heavy underlift can pick up the front wheels and get you wherever you need to go.
Race Car Transports
We love racing here at Harvey’s. We have designed our very own ‘Race Transporter’. Our race transporters are used to move race cars, engines and other equipment. They can fit up to 5 Aussie racing cars, multiple TA2 vehicles, HQ’s and much more.
Recovery Equipment
Our towing fleet is supported by a huge range of recovery equipment. This includes skid steers, posi tracks, diggers, boom lifts, 4WD recovery vehicles, crane vehicles and more. We can recover vehicles from any situation to keep our roads safe.
Recovery Trailer
Our recovery trailer is a specialist piece of equipment that attends major accident and breakdown recoveries. It’s equipped with everything our operators need to recover vehicles and clean up accident debris as we go.
Breakdown Patrol Vans
We’re always close by when you need us. Our breakdown patrol vans can be spotted around South East Queensland. They’re on the lookout for stranded drivers that need a hand. Don’t be afraid to wave one down if you need a tow!
Multi Car Carriers
We operate multi-car carrying trucks that can transport up to 6 cars at one time. If you’re moving vehicle stock, transporting your fleet to a new location or just need to tow your entire collection at once, Harvey’s Towing can help.
